Hadi Madwar is a Toronto-based freelance visual designer with a diverse background in creative and editorial illustration, packaging design, and architecture. With degrees in architecture from McGill University and Università della Svizzera Italiana, he brings his architectural experience into his work, regardless of the subject matter. His illustrations are primarily built up using fine liner pens in a dot-by-dot technique, with watercolor overlays adding saturation, depth, and texture. The drawing he contributed to this fundraiser began as a personal project inspired by a friend’s memories of his grandfather’s home.
